Nomad Design Riptide Hollow Casting Braid is white, super supple 12-carrier superline with a hollow core. Made from high-quality Japanese PE fibers, Riptide Hollow Core Braid boasts one of the best strength to diameter ratios on the market. Additionally, the 12-carrier hollow core design allows anglers to easily topshot their reels if a break-off leaves depletes their excess line. Instead of replacing the whole spool, or removing the line and adding backing, with Riptide Hollow Core anglers can simply splice a new section of Riptide inside itself on both ends and it is as good as new. The splice connection is an 100% strength connection, and is the almost invisible and only noticeable on very close inspection. Available in 60, 80, 100, and 120 pound test in 400 or 1000 meter spools (437 or 1093 yards).
